We stayed in Miami at Best Western By The Bay overnight. Then off to Ft. Lauderdale to Port of Everglades and took the MSC Poesia. Our voyage took us to Key West, day at sea, Ocho Rio's Jamaica, Grand Caymen Island and last stop Cozumel, Mexico, day at sea and back to Ft. Lauderdale where we took an excursion to the Miami's Everglades Safari Park. Back to the motel for a night and homeward bound. Key was amazing for shopping and beautifully colored buildings. Ocho Rio's for their amazing waterfalls.
Grand Caymen had beautiful flowers and butterflies and the endangered blue iguanas that we were lucky to see 3. Cozumel we visited the Mayan Ruins which was full of history, very interesting, and a quick visit to one of their beaches. Our last day at sea was cloudy and very rough. A lot of rockin and rollin. Perfect day for packing up! Beautiful ship. Fantastic food and the service was amazing. Highly recommended. Our adventure in the Everglades Safari Park was exciting. We did the airboat ride and saw a lot of alligators in the wild and birds. A perfect ending to a perfect vacation.
l am a professional photographer. I am a member of Bird Studies Canada, CWF, WWF & Six Mile Lake Conservationists Club. I also monitor frogs & turtles in affiliation with Ontario Nature programs and Toronto Zoo's Adopt a Pond programs. I use a Sony A77 with a 150-500 mm lens & a Panasonic FZ200 with a good zoom capability,so I can keep a safe a distance to take photos of the species, respecting them and their space without stressing them. They all need to be protected. Remember their habitat is also our habitat. Patience always rewards me. Respect always comes before any photography. With a lot of work, understanding and getting along with each other, we can make a difference!! I also have helped rescue or gone solo in rescuing, foxes,Canada Geese, gulls, squirrels, turtles, raccoon, owls, loons, songbirds and more.I am a 2 time reward winner from Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority in 2011 and Ontario Nature in 2016, and have been published. Also in the midst of having my first book published by Toronto Zoo Adopt a Pond on turtles. Wildlife is my life. My soul , my energy!
